Dangote now 23rd richest in the world

NIGERIAN business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has retained his position as Africa’s richest man with a $25 billion net worth. He has held that position for the fourth successive year. Globally, the influential Forbes Magazine rates him on the list of 25 richest people in the world.

EFCC recovers $11billion stolen funds in 11 years

Since the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC came into existence in 2003, a total of 11 billion dollars has been recovered. This was disclosed by the Head of Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren yesterday. He also said that the commission handled many cases involving advanced fee fraud (419), money laundering, contract scam, internet fraud and has recorded over 100 convictions.

Gov Fashola declares Nov. 7 public holiday for civil servants to get their voter's card

Governor Fashola has declared Friday November 7, as holiday for all public servants in the state, so that they can collect their Permanent Voter Card (PVC) from INEC.

2015 Elections: LASAA holds town hall meeting with political aspirants on campaign posters and banners.

Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) is set to meet with political parties to spell out modalities guiding the use of campaign posters and banners for the forthcoming general elections. 

The Agency’s Managing Director, Mr George Noah, said this has become necessary to checkmate indiscriminate use of campaign posters and banners in Lagos State.
